Over the years...

It seems like I blog yearly rather than weekly or daily. But I wanted to update everyone on Greenlee's progress throughout the years. She has changed so much and is so smart. Everytime we hit a new stage, I never want it to end. She talks so well and loves to be outdoors.

The first July she was born, I started my own tradition of making that the time that I would take yearly pictures of her. So, July 4, 2007, here is Greenlee Reese Maberry.

Then, there was July 4, 2008...

Then, this year July 4, 2009....and what a big change!

It's Official...

This year, I am going to work hard at sending out birthday cards. Today I purchased funny and weird cards to send out....(they were 1/2 off at Hobby Lobby!) I always feel bad when I get a birthday card from someone and I knowingly know that I won't be sending them a card! So if I know your birthday then I will try my hardest to send you a card this year. If I don't know your birthday then you can leave it in the comments!

I had another photo shoot. This time just Brad Cooper. He was a great model and was easy to work with. We tried to get all his interest in his photos.

From Beaches to Ice...

All in the past 36 hours, we have had 82 degree weather and now today 32 degree weather. It is FREEZING!! I wore flip flops yesterday and the sun was out, just a beautiful day! But today is totally different! Standing outside for more than 2 minutes could freeze your insides. The wind is cold and hard.

I was able to do my first photo shoot with my family friends. We had a great time in the downtown painted alley.

By far, this picture of Brad Cooper is my favorite.

Cheeseburger Fridays

So, at the San Angelo Independent School District in San Angelo, Texas, they serve Cheeseburgers every other Friday. I have commited myself this school year to each every other Friday with my sister-in-law, Kelli. When I was growing up, that was my favorite day to eat in the cafeteria! I liked all the veggies and pickles on it and then i loved tons of mustard. So even now that I'm more grown up, I like tons of mustard and all the veggies including the pickles. Yum, Yum! Cheers to Cheeseburger Fridays!

Kids say the Darnest Things

Greenlee has now started to refer to herself as "NeeNee". It is the first of I'm sure many words that she has changed. Needless to say, now we are starting to call her NeeNee for a nickname...I wonder how long it will stick. Everyone tell me what cute words your kids, neices/newphews or friends' kids say. I'm very interested!

The Little Jack

I laid my cookie on the table beside the bed, only to notice that our little Jack, Rusty sat and stared at it. A mirror sat on the floor behind him showing his reflection. I, being an okay photgrapher, took this as an opportunity to take cute and unusal photos of Rusty. See what you think....

Curlers

Yesterday, I ate lunch at a common Mexican Restaurant when I turned around and there was Chris. Tiffany just thought he was out-of-town working.

Halloween Suggestions

I am opening the floor (blog) for suggestions on Halloween Costumes for Greenlee.

It's official!

Today, I have nothing to blog about. There is absolutely nothing excited going on right now in San Angelo or my little world!!! Greenlee is walking but I already blogged about it. See life is just life right now! For those of you who know me well...you know that it is not like me to not have much to say...but here we are on the 9th of September in two thousand eight and I have nothing!!! Thanks to all my friends and family who have been so involved that I have nothing to blog about! Love each and everyone of you!

Finally....

This is not the first walking expereince but it is the only one I can put on my blog. I can't wait to see how Tayla & Greenlee act together at Christmas when they are both walking like crazy girls!!!

Dreams...

So, I applied for a new position at my work and I'm hoping to get it! It is an Online Content Editor. Sounds all serious but it's not! This would be the job that would fulfill one of my dreams. I originally went to college to become a Film Editor....like you see the names at the end of the movies and they call it music editor, picture editor...that was suppose to be me!

But one day I meet this super great guy and fell in love.

New York & Hollywood is no place for a family so I choose to put that aside and just find a job in the communication business. This I did by selling advertising for the local newspaper. I am very happy with my current position but I know online is the future and that is where I need to be. And I get to do my dream job at the same time! What a great job! So in the next week or so I will let you know if I get the new position! Cross your fingers.

Boz & Mabe

I wanted to take you to a place where I was yesterday evening about about 7:15pm. Yesterday I stood in the front yard of Amber & Cole Bosworth's house. I had this great idea that Amber & I would take pictures of her son & my daughter in their plaid shorts and white tees. Kelli decided to come and join our great fun and help with the little people. This great idea turned quickly into a bad one until I decided that Greenlee likes to sing so I should sing to help her foncus onthe camera. So In the front yard Kelli, Amber & I sang and rattled keys to take these adorable pictures of our children! What a great activity! I wonder what the neighbors were thinking!

And then the GREAT FALL....Greenlee swears that she didn't have anything to do with it! ~ Yeah, Right!
