Today's Thoughts

Don't you think the best place to think is on the toilet? When I'm at work I can think of about 10 things I want to tell someone or 10 things I need to do and when I'm done in the bathroom, I have forgot all 10 things. It is crazy!


Another thing that was brought to my attention, was keeping secrets. My niece, Hailey, told me that keeping secrets wasn't hard to do. You just can't tell people. Her 6 year old brain understands how simple not saying anything is but my 26 year brain does not agree. Keeping secrets is hard.

I took Greenlee to a photographer because they needed a model her age. Of course, she wouldn't smile but the photos came out so well! Take a look.

YEEEHA! The Bulls are Here!

The Annual Stock Show & Rodeo has made it to town! Every year when the rodeo comes, everybody gets all dressed up in their boots and spurs and parade around like they have always been cowboys & cowgirls. It cracks me up! Of course I have been weraing my cowgirl get up but only because that is the only way i can wear jeans during the week. Did you know that the local school district gets a Rodeo Day off. Only in Texas! Well, I will definitely be joining the festivies this year TWICE! My big boss gave us 2 box seats for the Thursday performance and then we are going with our family on Saturday night. I have already joined the festivies by entering a photo in the exhibits. I didn't win...darn...but I entered and that is better than any other year.

Cleaning This Gun

Have you ever heard the country song "Cleaning this Gun" by Rodney Somebody? It is about the one speech that the boy remembers form high school. He remembers one of the girls dad's talking to him before him and the girl went on a date. You can imagine where this goes fromt he title of the song. "She's her daddy's girl, her mama's world...." Everytime it gets to this part, my eyes feel with tears. Oh Greens can't get married or grow up....ARGH! But while I listen to this song I think about weather I want another child. Right now, I say "Hec No!!!!" but then I wonder what it would be like to have a Mama's Boy! Even though there is a 50/50 chance that we have a boy. So I think i do want a Mam's boy but then maybe not. I Love our family of 3...traveling will be so fun and she can always take friends. What a dilemma~

What do yall think? And don't give me that Greens is so cute, we should reporduce again...b/c sometimes the second child is UGLY!!!! Hints me being the second baby....hehehehehehe

Happy Valentine's Day

...Feels like Monday

I fell terrible today. I have been selling to this one customer and I feel like I suck at it. I listened, I solved and now he is trying to challenge me again. I feel like a failure. I want the sale so bad that I think i'm destined not to have it. YIKES!!!! I'm truly disappointed in myself. There is so much to know about the product and I have gone to webinar after webinars to learn about it, but I just feel like when the customer ask me questions that I just don't know ANYTHING!

Well, I know the clouds will soon move.

No Way to Get Away!

So here it is...My Second Blog! I stink at this blogging business.



My daughter, Greenlee, has now learned how to use her walker for its purpose. A baby walker is used to help babies learn how to use their feet to step. For adults, a baby walker is a place for the baby to sit while they go get a beer....or food. Not my daughter though, she has finally learned how it get around and go from room to room. So now there is no way to get away!


The newest thing on the Parents plate is "WAVING"....Greenlee has learned to wave! She is very excited about this act but I still don't think she understands that when you wave goodbye that person leaves. She still cries when people leave after she has waved so nicely to them. Just to back track, these 2 new Growths (this is what I want to call it) came all in one week....I hope next week doesn't hold "walking".
