For all the Eldorado Fans....

Here is what the court house looks like today (5-19-08). The hearings are still going on over the children of the compound. Really a sad story at this point but something has to be done.

One to Sixteen Overnight

In 4 days my only daughter will be ONE...

...But she already thinks she is SIXTEEN!

Jr. High Dances

Remember back in Jr. High School when every month there was a dance. I loved that! Maybe your school didn't do that but ours did. I was in Jr. High in 1994 to 1997. (Old, right?) Let me remind you of this time.

This was a time of Jarbo Jeans & Mossimo brand clothing. And a time of cheap games, like Pogs and unlike video games. In Jr. High, I would ride my bike to my Friends house and sit outsides and jump on the trampoline. These times are far away now.

But the real reason I started this blog about Jr. High, was to talk about one in particular song that was always played at our dances.

I'll make love to you by Boys 2 Men

Honestly, this is a dirty song! How could they have let us listen to this and dance a slow dance with words that are so nasty? WOW!!!

Hear is some of the lyrics:

Close your eyes, make a wish. And blow out the candlelight. For tonight is just your night. We're gonna celebrate, all thru the night. Pour the wine, light the fire Girl. Your wish is my command. I submit to your demands I'll do anything, girl you need only ask.

I'll make love to you. Like you want me to. And I'll hold you tight. Baby all through the night. I'll make love to you . When you want me to. And I will not let go. Till you tell me to. Girl relax, let's go slow.

I ain't got nowhere to go. I'm just gonna concentrate on you. Girl are you ready, it's gonna be a long night. Throw your clothes on the floor. I'm gonna take my clothes off too. I made plans to be with you. Girl whatever you ask me you know I'll do.

See what I mean? I am surprised now about how they allowed this kind of music but they wouldn't let us be closer than 6 feet when we danced.

A Letter from Greenlee

My First Trip to Washington

Today, I rode on my first airplane with my mommy & daddy.

We got complimentary drinks….sweet!

Don’t think I didn’t sleep on the plane….
that is some of the best sleep I have ever had.

We finally made it to Washington, and I finally got to see my cousins again. All the traveling made me feel itchy…so to the bath tub!

Since it was Aunt Tiffany’s birthday, we went to dinner at the Outback Steak House. Tayla & I wore our birthday shirts for Aunt Tiffany.
Of course, while we were there, Daddy & Uncle Bear had to play video games.
But I watched….and I know my daddy won.

Aunt Tiffany had a great birthday party. I met all her crazy friends…just kidding…But I started to get sick. Aunt Tiffany was so happy, even her best friend (besides mommy) came from Texas.

I got sick the night before we were going into Seattle, So I stayed home with Grandma Max & Tayla. We had a blast and we didn’t have to go out in the cold. But Mommy & Daddy, went and they had so much fun.

They went to the Pacific Science Center and learn a lot or so they say.

And Daddy & Uncle Bear…

I always miss the good stuff….Mommy & Daddy got to see a real sea otter.
He came right up to the pier by Red Robin Restaurant.

But, unfortunately, every trip has to come to an end. So we headed back to the airport and flew to Denver. In Denver, we got ice cream and daddy & I played.

When we got home, it took forever to get our bags and the car keys where in mommy’s bag. So we waited for daddy to get the Hoe and pick us up at the front of the airport. But Nana & I played on her suitcase.

The End, Back to Work!

Kickboxing & The Best Part

Ouch! My back is super sore from kickboxing last night. I take a kickboxing class on Monday nights at my gym and last night was intense. I have been so stressed at work and being able to get some of that aggression out was wonderful! And of course at the end of the class, we do abs. YIKES! They hurt too but my back is really what is sore.
(Oh and by the way, I look just like the girl in the picture but darker hair...hehehhe)

It is my second time to go and the last class wasn't as intense as last night because the instructor was changing up the routine and she wasn't sure of it yet. But I think she has a good routine now.

So, I bet you are wondering what the best part is....well being SUPER SORE is definitely the best part. I don't feel like I did a good workout if I'm not sore.

Easter in Hamlin

We spent Easter with Randell's Family this weekend. Nothing too exciting but good food was served. Their new house is coming together very well. Rusty also got to go this time. He chased squirrels all weekend long and was pooped Monday morning.

And of course, Greenlee got to go. She learned how to kiss this weekend....she does it more int he air but in all it is a kiss. I can't wait for everyone to hear it.

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!
