Boz & Mabe

I wanted to take you to a place where I was yesterday evening about about 7:15pm. Yesterday I stood in the front yard of Amber & Cole Bosworth's house. I had this great idea that Amber & I would take pictures of her son & my daughter in their plaid shorts and white tees. Kelli decided to come and join our great fun and help with the little people. This great idea turned quickly into a bad one until I decided that Greenlee likes to sing so I should sing to help her foncus onthe camera. So In the front yard Kelli, Amber & I sang and rattled keys to take these adorable pictures of our children! What a great activity! I wonder what the neighbors were thinking!

And then the GREAT FALL....Greenlee swears that she didn't have anything to do with it! ~ Yeah, Right!

Reunion 2008

This years reunion was interesting! There was absolutely no AC and we slept in a tent! We bought tons of camping gear for this weekend: a lantern, a tent, sleeping bags, a cooler, and new sheets. We didn't have anything since we have only been married for 2 1/2 years and never been camping. We decided that next we camp it will be fall or winter. And we would love to camp in Washington but no one will take us!!! :)

She looks innocent but she is actually eating dirt!

Well, I'm back onboard now! And I am doing it without Randell this time but I feel confident! I stressed when we did it together all the time because I wanted him to do good and I forgot about me. So now he will jsut eat what I fix and he will lose weight that way! I can't wait to lose some!

Greenlee's Big BASH!

So, my one and only daughter has turned one and it is depressing. Where did this year go? I'm sure all the "Already Moms" are saying to themselves right now....I told you so. Greenlee is so big and we enjoy every minute of her smiling.

Here is Greenlee awaiting her super good cake!

Yum Yum Cake....(cake pictures to come)
Presents and presents and more presents!

Greenlee was such a sport. She was feeling terrible that day and slept most of it. All week she had a fever fo 103 and then the day of her party she got a bad rash. But you can tell she had a lot of fun.

For all the Eldorado Fans....

Here is what the court house looks like today (5-19-08). The hearings are still going on over the children of the compound. Really a sad story at this point but something has to be done.

One to Sixteen Overnight

In 4 days my only daughter will be ONE...

...But she already thinks she is SIXTEEN!

Jr. High Dances

Remember back in Jr. High School when every month there was a dance. I loved that! Maybe your school didn't do that but ours did. I was in Jr. High in 1994 to 1997. (Old, right?) Let me remind you of this time.

This was a time of Jarbo Jeans & Mossimo brand clothing. And a time of cheap games, like Pogs and unlike video games. In Jr. High, I would ride my bike to my Friends house and sit outsides and jump on the trampoline. These times are far away now.

But the real reason I started this blog about Jr. High, was to talk about one in particular song that was always played at our dances.

I'll make love to you by Boys 2 Men

Honestly, this is a dirty song! How could they have let us listen to this and dance a slow dance with words that are so nasty? WOW!!!

Hear is some of the lyrics:

Close your eyes, make a wish. And blow out the candlelight. For tonight is just your night. We're gonna celebrate, all thru the night. Pour the wine, light the fire Girl. Your wish is my command. I submit to your demands I'll do anything, girl you need only ask.

I'll make love to you. Like you want me to. And I'll hold you tight. Baby all through the night. I'll make love to you . When you want me to. And I will not let go. Till you tell me to. Girl relax, let's go slow.

I ain't got nowhere to go. I'm just gonna concentrate on you. Girl are you ready, it's gonna be a long night. Throw your clothes on the floor. I'm gonna take my clothes off too. I made plans to be with you. Girl whatever you ask me you know I'll do.

See what I mean? I am surprised now about how they allowed this kind of music but they wouldn't let us be closer than 6 feet when we danced.
