Remember back in Jr. High School when every month there was a dance. I loved that! Maybe your school didn't do that but ours did. I was in Jr. High in 1994 to 1997. (Old, right?) Let me remind you of this time.
Honestly, this is a dirty song! How could they have let us listen to this and dance a slow dance with words that are so nasty? WOW!!!
Hear is some of the lyrics:
Close your eyes, make a wish. And blow out the candlelight. For tonight is just your night. We're gonna celebrate, all thru the night. Pour the wine, light the fire Girl. Your wish is my command. I submit to your demands I'll do anything, girl you need only ask.
I'll make love to you. Like you want me to. And I'll hold you tight. Baby all through the night. I'll make love to you . When you want me to. And I will not let go. Till you tell me to. Girl relax, let's go slow.
I ain't got nowhere to go. I'm just gonna concentrate on you. Girl are you ready, it's gonna be a long night. Throw your clothes on the floor. I'm gonna take my clothes off too. I made plans to be with you. Girl whatever you ask me you know I'll do.
See what I mean? I am surprised now about how they allowed this kind of music but they wouldn't let us be closer than 6 feet when we danced.

I love it! Boys to Men ROCKED! My sister had some boy dedicate the song " I Wanna S*X you up"! By George Michael? At the time we really had no idea what it really meant that he dedicated that song to her, now I get it and what a pervert!!
Oh to be in Jr High again... Soon we will have kids in Jr High being just as naughty as we were!
I am so gald that someone else went to school the same time as I did. I always hear about things that were "before my time" :) I remember Pogs! I also remember baggy jeans that hid all those butts I was trying to check out. Did you know it was possible to tell how cute a tush was even though they were wearing baggy pants?
Well they played Sir Mix-A-Lot, Baby Got Back at my Jr. High dances, and it's just as nasty. Let's face it- the school can tell kids what to listen to, but they can enforce that 6-inch rule!! =)
